In this chapter we should like to introduce the reader to object oriented programming. The
aim is to put the reader in a position to write more sophisticated programs on his own.
The first examples will deal with numbers only, afterwards we shall come to permutations, characters,
tables of characters, irreducible matrix representations, and so on.
