My main hobby is music in various variations:

• I am singing in some opera projects (as a mezzo-soprano): we have an institution called Opernstudio Oberfranken in Bayreuth with various projects. One is Mozart's "The Magic Flute", where I'm singing the third boy; I also perform the Lucy in Gian-Carlo Menotti's short opera "The Telephone or: L'amour a trois" (a piece for only 2 people). On the other hand, every July and August I'm singing in the choir of the Wagner Festival Bayreuth in "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg".
• I was the leader of a gospelchoir. The rehearsals take place every thursday in the KHG, the community of the catholic students in Bayreuth. At least once per semester we are singing a concert in a church in Bayreuth. In addition, we are quite often invited to sing somewhere in the northern part of Bavaria, so during the last few years, we had at least 2-3 concerts per semester.
• My most preferred instrument is the piano (beyond the voice). I love playing in my remaining spare time. At the moment, the favourite topic is to accompany singers, violinists, cellists etc.
• In former times, I also was playing the violin in the symphony orchestra of the university. More details about the rehearsals, semester projects and concerts you can find here.
• I also love to dance, for example with my boyfriend at the Tanzschule Rupprecht.
